I haven’t been here to visit in a while – too many things running through my brain, but I guess today there’s something to say.
I am feeling very anxious today – many factors – but the biggest reason is that the end of my journey with Andy, Bethy, Carlee (and the “family” that evolved from their story from beginning to end) is almost over. Oh, I know I’ll “visit” them, either through my thoughts or written words – they will always be just a page or two away – but it’s not the same. I won’t be trying to SHOW you what happens next in their lives. One thing that I’ve tried to focus on (because you said so) was to SHOW more than TELL and I hope with each page you’ve turned, through each book of this series, you’ve seen growth in my journey.
Here’s where I am – just so you know… I was going to SETTLE on a font, but my AWESOME COVER DESIGNER – Jeff Manalo – said don’t settle. He will be here Saturday to work on the cover (we already have an idea, it’ll just be tweaking) and he will figure out the inside font that I want to use for the chapter headers. (My dream – be able to pay someone to format – I HATE THIS PART!!!)
After the interior fonts are the way I really want them – I will send it to my proofer…Β and then we wait… HA!
Two ARC copies have already gone out – they didn’t want to wait for the layout fixes and fonts – they want to read the story (exciting!). One more will go out this weekend – I have a couple more tweaks to the layout I want to finish first. It’s a BOOK BLOGGER, I DON’T WANT TO SEND IT JUST YET! ha ha!) π Β The rest of the ARC winners want to wait until I am ready to hit the SUBMIT button to upload the book… and I hope that will be very soon….
If you’ve read these books, you know that HOPE is my favorite word (it’s Carlee’s favorite too, GO FIGURE! ha ha ha!) and my gift from you for believing in me, taking a chance on me, trusting me with little pieces of your heart from the words and thoughts you share with me (I LOVE THE MESSAGES YOU SEND ME!) is this…(minus the birds)
I wish I loved the song enough to share it, but this lyric is what I want to leave you with. “In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.” Paul McCartney
I love those words (WHO KNOWS, MAYBE A BOOK SOMEDAY SOON!) π
But since I LOVE this song, and share it OFTEN…

Barb as always we believe in you and still can’t get over the wonderful books you have written so far and can’t wait for this one. Yes we will miss Andy and all the characters in your books. Like I have said before know Dad and Mom are smiling down on you. Love you
I love when you tell me that, Sue. It gives me a vision of BOTH of their smiles and warms my heart – I love you!
Barbara, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Andy,Bethy and Carlee. I found it very emotional and can’t wait for the next book. I will be sorry that this is the last of Andy but as they say all good things must come to an end. Can’t wait xx
